The core of the wine comes from the family’s estate vineyard in Coombsville, one of Napa’s coolest sub-appellations, along with Rutherford fruit and small lots from Atlas Peak, Mount Veeder and Howell Mountain. The 2022 blends 86% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc and was aged for 20 months in French oak, 25% of it new. It is bottled at 14.5% ABV in a 750 mL bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOpen and approachable now, it should drink well through about 2030.
