Jensen created it as a tribute to his mentor, Stephan Asseo of L’Aventure. The fruit comes from grower sites around Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo County. The wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller amounts of Malbec, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot. It is aged in French oak, a good share of it new, and bottled at around 14.8% ABV in a 750 mL bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDrink now or hold several years.
