Master distiller Greg Metze’s high-malt recipe — 51% corn, 34% malted barley, 15% rye — ages in new charred American oak; Big C chose this cask rather than blending many barrels. Share it with friends.

A single high-malt barrel still drinks from that mash and new oak: malt sweetness and vanilla from the extra barley, corn richness, and rye spice from the 15% rye, with the extra intensity of one cask. This pour is the store-only Old Elk, meant to be sipped as the barrel Big C signed off on. The finish stays warm.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0802/4349/0965/files/old-elk-big-c-pick-single-barrel-bourbon-whiskey.webp?v=1793339044
