Heaven's Door Decade Series 10 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is Release 01 of a limited ten-year collection: a Tennessee straight bourbon with a 22% rye mashbill, aged a decade, and bottled at 100 proof without charcoal mellowing or chill filtration. Master blender Ryan Perry held the barrels past the point most Tennessee whiskey is dumped, so that rye could read as spice and citrus on the sip. Share it as a weeknight pour that still feels like an occasion.
Caramel and vanilla wafers lead, with toasted oak and orange peel close behind. Dried orchard fruit and honey round the middle, then baking spice and a light herbal rye note carry a medium-full, slightly oily finish.
