1792 Cognac Cask Finish takes Small Batch and rests it at least six months in former Cognac casks on the top floors of Barton’s rickhouses, then bottles it at 95 proof. It is the first finished 1792 they kept in the lineup. Those barrels add dessert fruit and a rounder sip to a whiskey people already know.
Cocoa and caramel, then plum, apricot, cherry, and vanilla. Rounder than unfinished Small Batch, with spice still in the grain.
