2XO Kiawah Blend is the fourth limited Icon Series from Dixon Dedman, named for his family’s South Carolina retreat and bottled at 104 proof. Two Times Oak is the method: two mashbills, with the spicier share recasked in new #3 and #4 char for nine to twelve months. Extra oak is what you are paying for.
Cracked pepper and baking spice, toasted oak, bread crust and French-toast pastry, then dark chocolate. Rich and oak-laced, drying into sweet spice.
