M&H Elements Sherry Cask Israeli Single Malt Whisky is single malt from Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, matured in custom kosher Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled at 92 proof without chill filtration. The distillery had those casks seasoned in Jerez so a kosher malt could take real sherry fruit and chocolate; Israel's warm climate speeds that extraction. It was named World's Best Single Malt at the 2023 World Whiskies Awards. Pour it over a large cube.
Red fruit and caramel lead, with lemon brightness beside the sherry. Dark chocolate and dried fruit fill a medium, creamy body, and tobacco and oak stand out on the palate through a lingering chocolate finish.
