Found North Batch 007 18 Year Old Cask Strength Canadian Whisky
Caramel and vanilla come through first, thick and sweet, with a cool line of mint running underneath. Rye spice builds behind that, dry and peppery, and the finish leans into leather and old oak. This is a Canadian whisky with plenty of grain character and no shortage of wood.
The whisky was drawn from Manitoba and Alberta stocks and spent 18 years in new and used American oak. That long maturation shows up as depth rather than bitterness, with baking spice threaded through the back half.
It goes into the bottle at cask strength, 129.8 proof (64.9% ABV), so it drinks hot and concentrated straight from the 750 mL bottle. A few drops of water will open the sweeter notes without flattening the spice, and it holds up well over a large cube if you prefer it cold. Either way, take it slowly.
