Bottled at 122.5 proof (61.3% ABV), this is bourbon at full cask strength, undiluted and drawn from a single barrel. Eleven years in new charred American oak have pulled the whiskey deep into the wood, and the result is rich without being heavy-handed.
Caramel comes through thick and warm, with dark fruit sitting underneath it — stewed plum, a little raisin. Baking spice runs through the palate and keeps the sweetness in check, while toasted grain and oak settle in on the long finish. At this proof the texture is oily and coating, and it holds its shape well against ice.
Distilled in 2025 in Kentucky and offered in a 750 mL bottle. Single barrel means what it says: every bottle comes from one cask, so the character here belongs to this barrel alone. A few drops of water will open the fruit if you want it softer, though it drinks well straight from the bottle.
