This is a rich, grounded extra añejo. Made from Blue Weber agave in Jalisco’s Los Altos, Tequila Ocho spends 3 years in ex-American whiskey barrels, developing depth while keeping cooked agave clearly in view. It is additive free, with the spirit and oak carrying the profile on their own.
Dark chocolate and salted caramel give the palate a generous core, while white pepper brings a clean lift. Oak firms the finish without covering the agave. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), it has enough presence for a slow neat pour, and the 750 mL bottle suits a long dinner or a quiet evening at home.
