The Balvenie crafts this cask-strength Speyside Scotch whisky. On the palate, honey gives a rounded, mellow sweetness and supple weight, set against the concentrated character of dried fruit. Orange adds a clean, bright citrus lift, while cinnamon and rich oak spice bring firm definition and lasting warmth to the finish.
Sherry butts and bourbon barrels guide maturation, after which the whiskies are married in Tun 1509 before bottling. Bringing the components together in the tun allows their distinct cask character to integrate. As a cask-strength release, it remains at undiluted barrel proof. Limited quantities of the 750 mL bottle are available, with strength ranging from 100.8–105.8 proof depending on batch.
