This Kentucky whiskey spent 12 years in new charred American oak. As a single-barrel release, it is drawn from one cask rather than assembled as a batch, so the whiskey reflects that barrel alone. Cask-strength bottling leaves it at undiluted barrel proof, preserving the concentration and structure carried from maturation into the 750 mL bottle.
A modest pour can be tasted neat first to appreciate its full cask-strength concentration, then gently diluted in small increments according to personal preference.
