Baker’s 7 Year Old High Rye Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey Limited Release
Baker’s 7 Year Old High Rye Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey Limited Release is a high-rye bourbon from Jim Beam, a limited single barrel aged at least 7 years and bottled at 107 proof. Beam built it with twice the rye of the standard Baker’s mash, so charred-oak vanilla and caramel pick up dried fruit and a clearer rye spice. It launched in 2024 and returned in 2025 as the same limited single-barrel expression, one cask at a time.
Charred oak, vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, and brown sweets are the notes Beam says to expect, with rye spice through the palate and baking spice on a full-bodied finish. Breaking Bourbon’s barrels add dark fruit, cinnamon, and barrel char under that same frame. Single barrels move around those flavors. The caramel-and-spice core is what the brand and the reviews share.
