Those barrels average 7 to 11 years. Nelson’s holds back well-aged casks that drink with single-barrel depth but come in light on proof, then blends them with higher-proof barrels so every batch lands at 108.3 proof. It is not chill-filtered, so the toffee, black cherry, and spice stay in the glass.
