Brown sugar leads, sweet but not sticky, with rye spice cutting through right behind it. Mint runs underneath the whole pour and keeps things bright, while dark chocolate gives the back half some weight. Vanilla and toasted oak sit together on the finish, warm and dry rather than sugary.
At 105 proof (52.5% ABV) it drinks fuller than most everyday ryes, with enough grip to stand up in an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan without disappearing. Neat, it takes a cube well. This is a 750 mL bottle you can keep on the shelf and reach for on a weeknight without thinking twice about it.
