Dried fruit forms a dark, concentrated core, with black cherry bringing a tart counterpoint and praline adding rounded sweetness. Cinnamon and oak shape a warm, firm finish. Across the palate, the darker flavors feel broad and settled, while the finish adds definition without turning severe. The effect is rich but not diffuse, with the sweeter elements held in place by a firmer closing edge. A neat pour gives those contrasts a few quiet minutes to open.
