Doc Holliday 7 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey

Doc Holliday 7 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is World Whiskey Society’s younger single-barrel, typically sourced from Indiana on the 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley mashbill and bottled at cask strength after seven years in charred oak. Reviewed 2024 barrels sat around 116 to 118 proof; other casks have come in higher. WWS is shopping barrels, not repeating one recipe, so the steer-skull bottle is the constant; the whiskey is one cask. Worth keeping around for slow sips and simple cocktails.

Marshmallow, cotton candy, and cream soda open, then caramel, French toast, and black cherry on an oily sip. Rye spice and baking spice come through the heat, and a light tobacco and cinnamon close hangs on.
