Four Roses 2024 Limited Edition Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Four Roses 2024 Limited Edition Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Four Roses 2024 Limited Edition Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the 17th annual LESB: 31% 12-year OBSV, 23% 15-year OESK, 39% 16-year OESF, and 7% 20-year OBSV, non-chill filtered at 108.2 proof. The F yeast (mint and herbal grain) at 16 years is the surprise — Elliott said it gave dark cherry and extra weight — while the 12-year OBSV keeps the blend bright and rye-tangy instead of collapsing into 20-year oak. A generous sipper when the weather turns and the evening stretches.
Creamy vanilla, honey, and brown sugar open onto ripe berries, apricot, and tangy citrus, with herbal mint woven through. Cherry, cocoa, cinnamon, and seasoned oak carry a spice-rising finish that stays civil at this proof.
