Frank August Small Batch Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is the core rye, launched April 2025: 10–15 barrel batches of Kentucky straight rye at 100 proof, a permanent counterpart to the Small Batch bourbon. It took IWSC Gold (95) and a 97 from Robb Report. Distilled, aged, and bottled in Kentucky. A strong pick for sipping with friends.
Rye spice and dried fruit open with mint, wild honey, and dark cocoa. Cinnamon and clove meet toffee and citrus zest on a viscous palate; the finish is medium, herbal and warm, with fig, leather, and soft oak.
