Aged oak sets a broad, tannic foundation rather than a merely sweet one. Cinnamon graham cracker brings toasted grain and baking-spice warmth, while maple syrup rounds the palate with a dense, dark sweetness. Clove provides the closing contrast, leaving a pointed aromatic prickle that holds against the whiskey’s richness.
A neat pour keeps the full profile intact, while a large cube can temper the strength and open the whiskey over a slower sip.
