Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 22 Year Old Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the 2026 Heritage Collection — the oldest bourbon in the series so far. Distilled in February, July, and August 2003, it spent twenty-two years on the fifth and sixth floors of Rickhouse Y, then was bottled in December 2025 at barrel proof, 129.2, with no chill filtration. Traditional mash of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, about 270 barrels in the mingle. High-floor Kentucky heat is why orange oil, leather, and pepper show at this age. Give it a large cube if the heat asks for one.
Toasted nuts, aged oak, and bright orange oil open. Butterscotch, black tea, leather, and cinnamon follow on an oily palate. The finish is long: charred oak, cherry, toffee, and black pepper.
