Wheat in the mash keeps the bourbon round; the Islay wood lays campfire peat over that sweetness. Handmade ceramic bottle with Dylan's Lighthouse in Maine, 2017, in a numbered leather journal — a limited annual Dylan Bootleg. This is cold-weather whiskey.
Toasted marshmallow, sugar plum, marzipan, and creamed corn meet sandalwood. Winter campfire, mesquite, leather, pipe tobacco, and cedar take the palate. The finish is long, smoky, and spiced, with the wheat still sweet underneath.
