Indri Agneya Indian Single Malt Whisky is Piccadily's lightly peated single malt from the village of Indri in Haryana, India — the name is Sanskrit for belonging to fire. Six-row Indian barley is kilned over peat, then double-distilled in copper pot stills made in India. Subtropical warehouse heat softens that smoke as the whisky sits in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, so chocolate, orchard fruit, and a thread of peat stay in the glass. Bottled at 92 proof, non-chill-filtered, with no added color. Pour it as a weeknight dram.

Chocolate and vanilla lead, with dried apple and apricot tucked underneath. Mango, banana, and toffee sweeten the sip while the peat stays gentle, more ember than medicine. The mouthfeel is rounded and the finish runs long, sweet-salty, with fruit and a last curl of smoke.
