Maturation begins in ex-bourbon barrels, continues in quarter casks, and finishes in Oloroso sherry casks. That final stage brings dried fruit and sherry richness to the whisky’s smoky core. At 96 proof (48% ABV), it has enough weight to stand up well over ice while retaining its full flavor.
