This Kentucky blend brings together sherry-finished and toasted-barrel whiskeys, and you can taste both influences pulling in the same direction. The sherry side shows up as dried fruit, fig and raisin steeped in something dark and sweet, while the toasted barrels lend a warm grain character underneath.
Molasses gives the whiskey real weight on the tongue, thick enough to coat without turning syrupy. Cinnamon runs through it with a gentle heat that has more to do with baking spice than with the proof. The oak stays toasty rather than dry, and the finish is long and warm.
Bottled at cask strength, 122.6 proof (61.3% ABV), this is undiluted barrel whiskey and it drinks like it. A few drops open up the caramel considerably. The 2026 release comes in a 750 mL bottle, and it holds up well in an Old Fashioned if you want the spice to carry.
