Little Book Chapter 3 The Road Home 2019 Blended Straight Whiskey
Little Book Chapter 3 The Road Home 2019 Blended Straight Whiskey is the series’ first straight bourbon: a barrel-proof marriage of Booker Noe’s original Small Batch Collection. Freddie Noe blended 9-year Knob Creek as the largest share, then 12-year Baker’s, 9-year Basil Hayden’s, and 11-year Booker’s, all uncut, and bottled the result at 122.6 proof. Knob Creek and Booker’s load vanilla and caramel; Basil Hayden’s high-rye mash lengthens the spice; Baker’s supplies the sweet oak close. Pour it neat for a spirit-forward night.
Vanilla, caramel, and toasted brown sugar lead, with rye spice, honey, and dried apricot behind them. Smoky barrel char and black pepper keep it lively. The finish is long and hot in the best way: leather, seasoned oak, and a last thread of vanilla.
