Noe Distillery in Clermont: a 2-year Kentucky bourbon filled below Beam's usual barrel-entry proof so it stays creamy instead of raw, a 3-year malted 100% rye Beam had not bottled on its own, a 5-year bourbon, and a 15-year bourbon for the deep wood. Uncut and unfiltered at 116.8 proof. Pour it when you are sipping with friends.
Butterscotch and toasted bread lead, with brown sugar and a creamy vanilla middle. Black cherry, fig, and apricot keep it from turning into dessert. The malted rye shows as nutmeg, pepper, and a thread of smoked vanilla on a long, warm finish.
