Chestnut’s wide grain is what you taste as extra spice, liquorice, and an oily chew. A cold-weather pour.
Red liquorice, rosemary, mint, and grated ginger lead. The palate is oily — cinnamon toast, ripe banana, sweet fruit, dark chocolate — with a long finish of green tea, baking spice, and mint.
