NULU Amburana Cask Finished Bourbon Whiskey

NULU Amburana Cask Finished Bourbon Whiskey is a limited Experimental Finish Series bottling from Prohibition Craft Spirits in Louisville: mature Kentucky bourbon, typically high-rye stock, given a short rest in Brazilian amburana casks. That sugar-laden Brazilian hardwood, used for cachaça, is why cinnamon icing, cacao, and burnt sugar arrive so fast, which is why the distillery tastes these barrels almost weekly. Pour it when you are sipping with friends.

Cinnamon icing and snickerdoodle lead, with vanilla, cacao, and candied ginger. The body is sweet and coating. Burnt sugar, nutmeg, and a dust of cinnamon linger on a dessert-like finish.
