Oban Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a limited annual double-matured malt from Oban, Scotland: first in refill American and European oak, then in Montilla Fino–seasoned, re-charred American oak so grape and sea air wrap the malt. Bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV). Keep it for friends who want grape, malt, and sea air in one glass.
Salty sea breeze, grapes, and orange meet soft malt and wave after wave of rich fruit. The palate is creamy and grapey, held by sea salt and white pepper; smoke stays in the background, and the finish is long and sweet-smoky, with coffee, oak, and a malt-biscuit close.
