Old Elk Infinity Blend Bourbon Whiskey is Greg Metze's 2021 limited marriage of 60% six-year Old Elk high-malt bourbon — 51% corn, 34% malted barley, 15% rye — with 24% twelve-year and 16% eleven-year Kentucky straight bourbons, bottled at 114.9 proof. The older Kentucky stocks thicken caramel and baking spice around the malt-sweet house whiskey. Pour it as an after-dinner dram.
Caramel chews and vanilla meet cinnamon bun, allspice, and brown sugar. Cocoa and mature oak fill a viscous sip. The finish runs medium-long: baking spice, tobacco, and lingering cinnamon.
