Old Fitzgerald 8 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is Heaven Hill's Spring 2021 Decanter Series release: Spring 2013 distillate drawn from three Bardstown rickhouses, different floors, and two production dates in the same season, then bottled in bond at 100 proof. Eight years on the wheated mash lands on brown sugar and toasted nuts. Pour it when you are sipping with friends.
Brown sugar, butterscotch, and vanilla lead a buttery sip. Toasted bread, walnut, pecan, and a hint of peach sit in the middle. Clove, white pepper, and light leather close medium-long and warm, still dessert-soft at bonded strength.
