The extra year and tick of strength are what you taste as caramel, fudge, and baked sugar with brighter berry fruit. Pour it over a large cube.
Caramel, fudge, and baked sugar open, then butterscotch, berries, and toasted wood fill a modest, cereal-sweet palate. Cinnamon sugar and a grind of pepper show up on a slightly drying finish. It drinks silky and cereal-sweet, with enough spice to keep the caramel in check.
