Parker's Heritage Collection turns here to wheat whiskey, a softer grain pushed into darker territory by Level 5 heavy-char new American oak. The char shows immediately: chocolate and woodsmoke sit together on the nose, with honey underneath keeping things sweet rather than severe.
The palate is warm and generous. Black pepper and clove give the wheat some grip, cinnamon rounds it back out, and dry oak trails off at the end without turning bitter. At 105 proof (52.5% ABV) it drinks fuller than the proof suggests, with the kind of weight that holds up over a single large cube on a weeknight.
Distilled in 2019 in Kentucky and aged over 8 years, this is a bottle that rewards attention but does not demand a special occasion. It comes in a 750 mL bottle.
