Shortbarrel Cigar Blend American Whiskey is Shortbarrel Cigar Batch #3 Gauge 36: 8-year MGP high-rye bourbon (36% rye) married with Bardstown Kentucky bourbon, then finished one to three years in cognac, rum, Armagnac, and tawny port casks, blended in Atlanta at 116 proof (58% ABV). High rye and those brandy casks are why the pour stays dry and spicy with leather in the middle. Pour it neat when you want a longer nightcap.
Charred oak and black pepper lead a dry, full sip, with cinnamon and baking spice in the middle. Vanilla bean and candied fruit sit underneath the rye heat. Leather and toasted oak hang on a long, coating finish.
