Shortbarrel The Sapsquatch Maple Finished Bourbon Whiskey is a limited blend of 6- to 8-plus-year Kentucky and Indiana bourbons (mashbills 70/21/9 and 75/21/4) that starts in stainless steel with sugar-maple infusion spirals for six to eight weeks, then moves into Kelvin Cooperage toasted barrels that previously held maple syrup from Vermont and Ohio. Stainless builds the maple; the toasted casks build dry oak structure. Bottled in Atlanta, non-chill filtered, this batch at 110 proof (55% ABV). Maple is part of the architecture, not a syrup topping. It is a cold-weather pour.

Toasted oak, maple wood, and charred sugar lead, then dark caramel, vanilla bean, clove, cinnamon, and roasted nut fill a bold, structured sip. The finish is long and drying: toasted wood, caramelized sugar, and persistent spice, sweetness pulling back so the bourbon reasserts itself. It drinks maple-forward without turning into dessert.
