Siempre Exclusivo Vivo Blanco Tequila
This is a blanco built for drinking, not fussing over. Blue Weber agave from Jalisco, unaged, additive free, and bottled at 95 proof — a little more strength than most blancos carry, which keeps it from disappearing into a mixed drink.
Cooked agave sits at the center, sweet and vegetal the way steam-cooked piña should be. Around it are softer fruit notes, pear and a touch of banana, with citrus cutting through and keeping things bright. Black pepper shows up late, and the finish turns cool and stony, mint over minerals.
Nothing here needs decoding. It has enough backbone for a margarita that still tastes like tequila, and enough clarity to sip on its own if that is the mood. The 750 mL bottle is the everyday size, and this is very much an everyday tequila.
