This is a rich, mature whisky. The Dalmore 25 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky draws its character from ex-bourbon barrels, Tawny Port pipes and Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks. Its Highland origin and extended maturation frame a palate with concentrated dried fruit and ripe fig at its center, while a clear note of orange adds lift and contrast.
Bottled at 84 proof (42% ABV) in a 750 mL bottle, it has limited availability. Serve it neat to keep the contrast between its darker flavors and brighter accents in clear focus from the first sip. The texture turns toward rounded toffee, then chocolate and warm spice together complete the finish.
