The GlenDronach Allardice 18 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is named for founder James Allardice and matured eighteen years exclusively in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks at the Valley of Forgue distillery. Oloroso wood is why nutty, dry sherry and stewed fruit lead this Highland malt, bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV) without chill filtration or added colour. Share it sipping with friends.
Fudge, muscovado sugar, and morello cherry lead, then stewed fruit, allspice, and chocolate orange fill a rich, viscous sip. Toasted walnut bread and aged Oloroso stand out on the palate; treacle, walnut, and dark fruit linger on a long finish.
