The Last Drop 1969 Glenrothes Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This Speyside single malt Scotch stands apart through its vintage, age, and single-barrel, cask-strength presentation. Distilled in 1969 and matured in oak for 50 years, The Last Drop 1969 Glenrothes is bottled undiluted at 92.6–94.2 proof depending on batch. Each 750 mL bottle contains whisky drawn from one cask, retaining the undiluted strength of that individual barrel. Long oak maturation and batch-dependent proof distinguish individual bottlings within the release.
Ripe fruit and citrus set a vivid tone, with creamy vanilla lending softness and weight. Exotic spice brings contrast and keeps the profile from settling wholly into sweetness. At cask strength, the whisky has enough concentration to merit a small, neat pour and patient attention.
