Yamazaki’s single malt Japanese whisky from Osaka brings persimmon and plum together on the palate. Ginger places spice beside the fruit, giving the whisky a distinct counterpoint and keeping the flavor profile clearly defined. Rather than centering on a single flavor, the palate shifts in emphasis before the more aromatic character gradually comes fully into view.
Matured for 25 years in American, Spanish and Mizunara oak, the whisky draws on each cask type as part of its long development. It is bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV), with the release presented in a 750 mL bottle and availability kept limited. On the aromatic side, Mizunara incense meets sandalwood, carrying the final impression toward fragrant wood.
