Tullamore D.E.W. 14 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a triple-distilled Irish single malt from the Tullamore house in County Offaly: most of its fourteen years in ex-bourbon casks, then a rare four-cask finish in bourbon, Oloroso sherry, port, and Madeira so apple, citrus, and tropical fruit actually land. Bottled at 82.6 proof (41.3% ABV). It is a relaxed evening pour.
Ripe apple, sweet citrus, and tropical fruit lead, with honey and vanilla filling a silky sip. Toffee, cinnamon, and a whisper of spice stand out on the palate; the finish is long, honeyed, and warm.
