Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Aged Whiskey 100 Proof is a Tennessee whiskey named for 1856, the year Nearest Green helped perfect the Lincoln County Process: a blend of barrels aged 8 to 14 years, filtered through sugar-maple charcoal, then matured in new charred American oak and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). That charcoal step and the extra years give caramel and stone fruit a smooth frame with real spice. Pour it when you want a firm Tennessee sip.
Baled hay, pumpkin seed, and ripe stone fruit lead, with caramel corn and maple filling a bold, spicy sip. Oatmeal-raisin-cookie sweetness stands out on the palate as the heat settles; vanilla lingers on a long, rich finish.
