Uncle Nearest Master Blend Edition Premium Whiskey is a limited cask-strength Tennessee whiskey from Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville: master blender Victoria Eady Butler sets aside the most spectacular barrels from each blend, then marries them after sugar-maple charcoal mellowing, new American oak, and a rest in a non-temperature-controlled rickhouse for a minimum of six winters. Bottled at 112 proof (56% ABV). Keep it for a firelit pour.
Caramelized sugar, dark fruit, and warm baking spice lead, with vanilla and toasted oak filling a full, velvety sip. Molasses, cinnamon, and cocoa stand out on the palate; the finish is long, warm, and spicy.
