After ten years in oak, this Brooklyn-made bourbon spends its final stretch in Crown Maple syrup barrels. That finish leaves a clear mark: maple runs through the whiskey from the first sip, backed by brown sugar that gives the texture some weight without turning it heavy.
Pecan sits alongside the maple rather than behind it, and there is a buttery shortbread note that keeps things soft in the mouth. Toasted oak comes in at the end, dry enough to balance the sweetness so the whiskey finishes clean instead of sticky. At 91 proof, it drinks easily neat and holds its shape over ice.
