Widow Jane Lucky Thirteen 13 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Widow Jane Lucky Thirteen 13 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Widow Jane Lucky Thirteen 13 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a year-round small-batch blend of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana straight bourbons aged a minimum of 13 years, then married in hyper-small lots in Widow Jane's Red Hook, Brooklyn rickhouse. It is bottled at 93 proof (46.5% ABV), non-chill filtered, and cut with limestone mineral water from the Rosendale Mines so pecan, tea, and dry oak keep their weight. Make it the pour that starts the evening.
Vanilla bean, Earl Grey, and caramel lead, with pecan pie and whole-grain toast filling a rich sip. Grapefruit peel brightens the palate; nutmeg, birch beer, and dry oak tannin close a long, warming finish.
