Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Sonoma Triple Finish Bourbon

Three finishes shaped this Kentucky bourbon: Sonoma Pinot Noir barrels, brandy barrels, and casks seasoned with red wine. Each one leaves a different fingerprint, and the result is a bourbon with a distinctly fruit-forward accent laid over familiar barrel sweetness.

Grilled pineapple comes through bright and a little caramelized, with red plum sitting just beneath it. Vanilla softens the center, then cinnamon lifts and sharpens things before red grape and toasted oak settle the finish. At 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV), it drinks easily without losing shape, which makes it as comfortable neat as it is over a single large cube.

This is the 2023 release, bottled at 750 mL. If you keep one bourbon on the shelf for evenings that deserve a little more attention than usual, this is a good candidate — the wine-cask influence gives it enough personality to notice, without pulling it away from what a bourbon should be.
