Yellowstone's 2022 Limited Edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged seven years, then given time in Marsala Superiore casks before bottling. That finish shows up in the fruit: dark, jammy, sitting just behind the caramel that leads the pour.
Vanilla runs through the body and keeps things sweet without turning syrupy. Cinnamon picks up toward the back, and the finish leans dry, with tobacco leaf and mature oak lingering longer than you'd expect from a seven-year bourbon. At 101 proof, it has real weight but stays easy to drink, and it holds its shape over ice rather than washing out.
This one is a good everyday pour for anyone who likes a bourbon with some fruit to it. Distilled in 2022 and bottled at 750 mL.
