Angel’s Envy 2023 Cask Strength is the 12th year of the limited program: barrels aged 5 to 9 years, finished in Portuguese port, bottled at 118.2 proof. Same idea as the earlier vintages, different barrel mix — port fruit at a proof that fills the mouth.
Concentrated dark fruit, caramel, vanilla, baking spice, and lingering port sweetness. Heavy and slow, jammy rather than bright.
