Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is Buffalo Trace’s uncut mashbill #1 bourbon, pulled from hand-selected barrels in warehouses Taylor built and bottled without water or filtration. Each annual batch leaves at its own strength above 125 proof, so this SKU is the line, not one locked laser code. That full barrel proof is why cooked berry and caramel read louder here than they do in the bonded Taylors, with oak and pepper holding the heat.
Cooked berries and rich caramel lead, with a floral lift over toasted vanilla. Dried oak and black pepper tighten the sip, dark fruit hangs on, and the finish stays long, hot, and full.
